D-SPLICER Splice Rope Soft Fid S4 Dyneema for Rope 4-8mm

The D-SPLICER Soft Fid is the solution for all splices with double braided ropes, where traditional drawing or hollow needles do not work properly. Especially with modern, very tight woven ropes such as RunnerTwin, you often reach the limits of the metal needles. The Soft Fid is a white sheath braid and a colored hollow braided rope made of Dyneema®. To splice them put the rope plug end to the end of the white sheat braid of the Soft Fid. Use a thin splicing needle to pull the colored end of the Soft Fid through the long part of the rope. Now pull firmly at the colored end of the Soft Fid that the white sheat braid with the plugged rope end is pulling through the rope.
