The sensor improves the accuracy of the Navigation, Tracking and Anchor Mode functions in changing wind and current conditions. It also adds a Jog function to Anchor Mode, allowing the boat’s position to be moved in small controlled steps without interrupting the position lock.
Easy to install and connect, the Nav Sensor helps you use the full capacity of a GPS-equipped motor.
Key features:
• Improves Navigation mode performance
• Improves Tracking accuracy
• Improves anchor mode accuracy
• Adds the Jog function to anchor mode
• Limits sideways movement of the stern
• Cable length 5 m
Jog function:
In anchor mode, the Jog function allows the boat to be moved in one-metre steps in four directions. On the remote, select forward (accelerate), back (decelerate), left or right for fine adjustment.
Jog directions are determined by the boat’s current heading. Each press moves the boat one metre, and the same direction can be pressed up to 10 times in succession for further movement. The function allows precise repositioning without leaving anchor mode.
Reducing stern movement:
The Nav Sensor limits stern swing caused by wind and current. The boat stays more stable and accurately in the desired position while anchor mode is active.
Installation:
The Nav Sensor is connected to the foot pedal port of a compatible Watersnake motor and attached to the boat with the supplied mounting hardware. The sensor should be placed at least one metre from the bow motor. Detailed installation instructions are included in the package.
