The shower sump is equipped with an automatic Sahara Mk2 bilge pump, known as the most reliable option on the market. The X-Air impeller integrated into the system prevents air lock, which ensures uninterrupted pumping even in challenging conditions. The flow rate is 800 GPH (approximately 3000 liters per hour). An optimized level switch reduces unnecessary start-ups due to, for example, boat rocking and water splashing.
Sump Box Mk2 is compatible with the previous Mk1 model. The sump dimensions, hose connections and mounting points are the same, so the replacement is possible without drilling or pipe modifications. Versatile hose connections are suitable for diameters of ¾”, 1”, 1 ⅛” and 1 ½”.
The sealed construction protects the system from moisture and electrolysis. The mesh filter integrated into the basin effectively collects hair and soap residue and is easy to clean. This ensures reliable operation and minimal maintenance.
