The 285 series circuit breaker is directly compatible with the 185 series circuit breakers, making it easy to install in upgrade or replacement situations. A visible reset lever clearly indicates the tripped state of the circuit breaker.
The ignition-safe design makes this circuit breaker a safe choice for gasoline-powered boats. The product meets the requirements of the SAE J1171 external ignition safety standard.
The weatherproof design ensures operation even in demanding conditions. The circuit breaker combines the functions of a switch and a fuse into one unit, simplifying the overall electrical system. Thanks to the ‘Trip Free’ feature, the circuit breaker cannot be kept closed once it has tripped, which increases safety.
