Features of the steering propeller:
• The very high quality cartridge seal used by Lewmar is significantly tighter than a normal lip seal. For this reason, the Lewmar steering propeller does not need an additional oil tank and the gearbox is also maintenance-free.
• The 5-blade propeller produces the same amount of thrust and drag in all 110-185TT series propellers. In larger diameter pipes and also in the higher power 250-300TT series, Lewmar uses two propellers rotating in opposite directions.

• In accordance with Lewmar’s own high standards, the electric motors are very reliable and efficient.
• Very reliable quick connectors on the machine and cables.
• A black box on the side of the machine protects the device from overheating and the angle gear from the stresses of sudden changes in direction.
• The angle gear is precisely dimensioned and therefore very quiet.
