Technical data:
Operating voltage: 24 V DC
Average current consumption: 2 Ah
Transducer power: up to 120 W output power
Cable length: 15 ft / transducer
Frequency range: multi-frequency ultrasonic signal (20–42 kHz)
Installation:
Installation does not require through-hull holes. The transducer is attached directly to the inside of the hull with the supplied epoxy.
Each transducer has a pre-installed 15 ft signal cable, which makes connection between the transducer and the control unit easy.
The control unit runs on the boat’s existing house battery system. Connection is made with a simple two-wire connection to the battery bank or distribution panel.
After installation, the system works automatically. A multi-frequency sweep algorithm keeps the ultrasonic protection continuously active.
Operating principle:
The system transmits high-frequency ultrasonic waves through the hull and drives, forming a microscopic resonance zone around the surfaces.
The ultrasonic waves prevent marine growth and other organisms from attaching to the surfaces.
Operation is based on completely chemical-free technology. The system does not release harmful substances into the water, making it suitable for marinas with strict environmental regulations.
The frequencies used are outside the hearing range of humans and marine mammals.
Benefits:
A cleaner hull reduces water resistance and helps maintain the boat’s performance and fuel economy.
Extends the life of antifouling paint and reduces docking and lifting costs.
Reduces the need for regular hull cleaning.
The ultrasonic waves also reach hard-to-service areas such as drives, seawater strainers and rudders.
The system works automatically without periodic maintenance.
