The ABA acid-resistant tensioner band is riveted to the screw housing at four points. All components are made of AISI 316 (SS 2343) acid-resistant steel. Thanks to ABA’s manufacturing method and thread shape, the tensioner has one of the best tightening torques in the world. When high tightening torque and the best possible corrosion resistance are required, ABA acid-resistant is the right choice. To ensure traceability, each tensioner is marked with the month and year of manufacture. The tensioner is used by various boat manufacturers worldwide. The screw has both a spanner slot and a screwdriver slot for tightening.
