The housing is made of marine-grade polypropylene and has 5 screw-fastened connection points. Each of the included terminal blocks can be installed separately or connected together as required. Unlike many other box solutions, the terminal blocks are firmly attached to the base of the housing, preventing the connections from loosening.
The cables are inserted into spring-loaded terminals that hold the conductors in place without damaging them. The terminal can be removed for easy cable installation and locks back into the base of the housing firmly.
To achieve IP67 protection, the SB-2G cable glands (9514601102) must be used.
Installation is achieved with the included self-drilling screws. Additionally, a bracket is included that makes it easy to install and remove the housing for inspection.
