This belt sander has a powerful and long-lasting brushless electric motor, which ensures a quiet and comfortable operating experience. Its lightweight design makes it easy to carry. The Mirka FBS-B is specially designed for seam and spot sanding without the need for air hoses or compressed air, making your work even more flexible. Combined with Mirka narrow and surface treatment belts, the device provides efficient material removal and a high-quality surface, for example when sanding spot welds and removing paint.
The Mirka FBS-B cordless belt sander allows freedom from cables and hoses, which makes it easier to work in tight and difficult areas, such as spot welds, weld seams and removing rust spots.
The light, balanced and ergonomic Mirka FBS-B is comfortable to use even for longer periods. Its rubber-coated handle provides a good grip, which reduces strain, especially in difficult working positions. Without the battery, the device weighs only 700 g, and with the battery, the total weight is about 1 kg, depending on the battery size.
This cordless version of the belt sander includes two 5.0 Ah 11.1 V Li-ion batteries and a charger. Lighter 2.5 Ah batteries are available separately. The 2.5 Ah battery is a great choice for shorter jobs, while the 5.0 Ah battery gives you long-lasting power. The batteries are compatible with other Mirka cordless tools, including Mirka cordless sanders and polishers, and the Mirka® ANGOS ARG-B sander.
In addition, the device’s Bluetooth connection enables additional functions via the myMirka app, such as vibration measurement, RPM range control and auto-stop. Some functions can be accessed via in-app purchases.
