The IKAROS parachute rocket is designed as a long-range distress signal for ships, lifeboats and life rafts. When deployed, the rocket emits a bright light that attracts the attention of rescue personnel.
The launch capsule has clear instructions for use, and its non-slip surface allows safe handling even with one hand. The waterproof design allows the rocket to be launched even underwater.
Meets the requirements of SOLAS 74/96 and complies with the EU Marine Equipment Directive.
