ROD-5 RUDDER ANGLE METER, BLACK/STAINLESS STEEL

The ROD-5 Rudder Angle Meter is an analog display designed to display rudder movements in real time ±20° from the center position (0°). The accurate and easy-to-understand display supports safe and controlled navigation in narrow waterways, ports and busy traffic areas.

The device works in conjunction with the ROD-5 Rudder Angle Sensor, which converts the mechanical movement of the rudder into an electrical signal for the meter. This ensures accurate and reliable angle information directly to the steering point.

The ROD-5 meter has a dual output function, which allows the same sensor to serve two separate displays. This is a useful feature on boats with multiple steering points or if angle information is to be displayed in multiple locations.

The analog display is clear and easy to read even in poor visibility. The backlight can be selected in red or yellow, and the gauge’s frame and background color options allow for visual consistency with other gauges.

Important Note:
The ROD-5 gauge is not compatible with the obsolete ROD-4 sensor. A compatible ROD-5 rudder angle sensor must be used for installation and upgrades.
