Sliders, teeth and endcaps are made of “POM” (Delrin®) plastics. POM feature high strength, hardness and stiffness in a wide temperature range. POM has a high abrasion resistance, low friction, high dimensional stability under heat and good sliding properties. We recommend POM zippers in salt water environment to prevent corrosion.
